Dinner At "The Brick Oven", Accord Metropolitan,Chennai

Recently, foodeebuddee (A platform to share your opinions & Experiences of foods & restaurants. Get Many Deals & Discounts Across Chennai & Banglore ) have organised #LoveForFood contest and i won the contest. I have been awarded a Buffet dinner for two at Accord Metropolitan Hotels. Here's my review & experience.

I was new to this place & entered with lots of excitement. To the right of the reception counter is the restaurant named "The Brick Oven". The hotel's ambience was fine and pleasant. Some pleasant live music by a Dj Soothe-ned  me up and its just gave me an awesome feel. This place is exactly lovely and silent & i recommend it for a family dine.

Service men's are slight delightful and guided us for a good dinner. Firstly they asked us for starters mentioning soups. I ordered for veg-soup,the veg- soup of the day was "Cream Of broccoli". Soup was pretty hot and tasted good. The bitterness of broccoli was just eliminated in the soup and soup was little creamy & thick.

Enlisted the starters had veg and non-veg groups. My bro ordered for veg platter and i ordered non-veg. The platter consisted of Green chicken kebabs and tangy mutton kebabs. All the chicken and mutton are cold and dry. Chicken tasted little spicy and well cooked, texture was fine,but the thing is that it was cold and wasn't upto my expectations. While, onto mutton, its also dry and rubbery hard,the texture of mutton was little rough, the taste was normal.

The veg platter consisted of Roasted paneer tikka & Veg cutlets. the panner cubes was on a normal sizes and certain sides of paneer was not well cooked, it was flop deal. Cutlet was deeply fried but it was served cold and it also disaster-ed my dinner. The taste was good and spicy.

After this, i was surprised to know that their starter's included veg and non-veg pizza. i ordered for non-veg pizza and they served me a slice of Pepper Chicken Pizza, The crust was thin and pizza was cold and so crust was ultimately hard but the taste compromised me as well, the taste was spicy due to pepper and well textured with chicken so the taste is well and if it would have been served hot, it would have been awesome.

After which i ordered for a watermelon juice, The taste was normal and the thing is, they didn't add any additional matters to the dish. yeah it was nice to have after those spicy ones.

From Now self serving buffet system, there were chaat specials like pani puri, chenna masale, baked white potatoes,Stuffed eggs. my bro drooled for panipuri stuffed with channa, yeah it was usual and puri was little soft and easy to gulp down a puri within sec's.

Infront of me, Warming Mutton Dum Biriyani & Raita. My brother was not satisfied with their menu as their menu had no chicken biriyani. Then mutton biriyani, Am Fan Freak in search of authentic biriyani's & This one was utter flop, the rice was well cooked & Mutton also well cooked & smell of the mutton was wow, i felt dissatisfied with mutton that they could have served boneless one,It Could have been better

Naan's and other south indian rice varieties were also present but i didnt look after it. I Skipped off for the dessert finishing off with a chocolate Pastry & Ladoo. There were n no of desserts to choose and well many of the kind are made with natural fruits & well presented. there were also many Kinds of cakes and pastries. I Dont know whether their menu has ice-creams or not but am well pampered with pastries.

Am Concluding that this restaurant must improve a lot in food and cuisine & also in varities.

The Restaurant ambience was pleasant & Great.

Many Foodee's Have Joined the session and we all introduced ourselves and we all ordered for some awesome drinks. i ordered for iced tea. I Felt it Was a bit late to serve. iced tea - its a fusion of lemon and peach. its a refreshing drink its quite good. 

One of my friend expressed his views about mangoneada. the mango Drink was unique (its little spicy) And Great.

After Which they served us their Authentic Platter Of Chicken Wings. There Was 4-6 Varieties of Wings.

I Have Tasted Barbecue ,buffalo sauced up chicken wings, seasme chicken wings. The Taste Were good, The Texture of the chicken were also well cooked,the outer layer of seasme chicken wings was too sticky, The barbecue chicken wings were crispy and really good one. The Buffalo sauce were awesome and chicken wings well textured.

And then we have been served a good dinner with some chinese and indian varieties. Firstly we have been served with naan & Chicken keema masala. Naan is good and Chicken Keema Masala is Awesome. Keema Masala is tasty and spices used were good and great. 

Few Of Foodies have Felt that mutton Gravy was little Salty. I Have Tasted veg Schezwan rice, Wow the taste was so spicy, the rice cooked is great. Guys You Should all taste Schezwan rice as it was the best.

Penne arabiata, a saucy one and it tasted delicious. At last its dessert time The dessert's served were daarsaan with icecream.

The Dinner ended great.

Locate The Dine At East-Coast

The Outside view of the restaurant is classic. open lawn garden of the restaurant is just green and also contain dining spaces (Its an romantic dining Spot). This place is not only to enjoy the restaurant but also consists of cafe, bouquet store, Spa & Some exotic furniture's & Arts Collections. This Place Is Fantastic and pleasant.
 


The Interior View of the restaurant : The walls are filled with Paintings and frames. part side of the hotel Contains large windows well designed such that sunlight enters the dining room on a off-stretch. Ambiance of the restaurant is pleasant, Silent and its an romantic spot. Its great for its class and love for its lovely food.

Thanks To Foodeebuddee team for the invite to taste the delicacies of East Coast By Madras Square. It Was interactive meetup with all the foodee's & Am Glad to tell That Food's Are At Superb Quality And Fine Dine. Thanks To Mathangi For Hosting the session.

My Friends have tasted some mushroom soups and expressed that starters were great. After which we have been served
Mushroom and feta bruschetta : totally loved the taste of feta with mushrooms and the presentation of the dish is eye treat

Creole style french fries: Am a fan of french fries, the potatoes were fried awesome & Its slight crunchy. The fries tasted salty and pepper,but not spicy.

Crab sliders: When It comes to crab, we feel awkward to open the shells and eat. But here its easy with a crunch. Crab was well stuffed and looks fantastically like a burger. The smell of the crab drives me to eat more & more.

Margerita pizza : i have tried many versions of margerita pizza, But this is awesome. the crust of the pizza is fine rolled such that its easy to tear. the sausage of the pizza is fine and topped with buffalo mozzarella cheese (The taste is different from familiar ones). Must Try

I Havent Tried aglio e olio spaghetti, But My friends have told that its oily and taste of the dish was great.

Curry leaf pesto fish: Wow The dish was utter fantastic. the taste of the fish was wow. The Fish melted its way into my mouth and it tasted fantastically awesome. Its Must Must Try !!

Prawn tempura with wasabi mayo : I Love Prawn exactly the prawn was well fried on a good style. the smell of the prawn was great. Once i started tasting i donno how much i ate. Mayo was also awesome. Its Must Must Try !!

panko chicken : Great Fan Chicken Is Here, Deep Fried Chicken is here. We Have Been Served So So Hot And the taste of the panko chicken was awesome that we have tasted 2 times. yeah its real. The Chicken is well stuffed and the texture of the chicken was loving. Its Must Must Try !!

My Friends Have also Tried penne puttanesca, steak and chips, 4 cheese mac n cheese and said they were great !!

Stuffed Chicken Were Served With Potato Wedges !! Though i didnt try chicken but tried potato wedges. The wedges were cut exotically and fried deeply.

All Comes To the End And Started tasting Dessert.
Theobroma : 5 layers of romantic chocolate. Bottom layer is moussee stepped up by white and dark chocolate sprinkled the top layer with cocoa powder. wow wow it tasted lovely. Its Very Must Try

Banofee pie : Its banana flavored dessert. it was uniquely done the taste was good . since the banana smell is raw it degrades the dish though its good

Hot Breads - Delighting Christmas Cakes In Chennai

Cakes are the most tasted on this season ??? what ?? ho ho Christmas season has started and this season each & everyone will hunt for the best cakes in and around. Hot Breads in Cathedral Road,Chennai has invited for tasting the special Christmas delicacies.

Hot Breads,Chennai, A very known best bakeries in Chennai. As we entered the event dine-in room we have been offered with a Cup of Hot coffee. It was a delightful serve. some of the Christmas special we have tasted are Rich Premium plum cakes, Minced pies, Walnut cake, Dundee cake, Plum pudding & Rich fruit cake.

One of the main Christmas specialities are rich plum cakes. I guess Hot breads has got the best plum cakes in chennai. The representatives from Hot Breads has clearly explained us about the making of all of these cakes. They have had an interesting fact about how they intially prepare for plum cakes. The main ingredients like plum and raisin are well cured in Rum for more than 6 months & then its prepared for baking with all natural ingredients. We have been served with premium plum cakes. Once i tasted it i should say that its the best plum cake with its texture and taste. In a single piece of plum cake there were lots of plums & raisins. The texture of the cake is soft and well pluffy. The taste of the cake is awesome.

Also Hot Breads are specialists in egg-less plum Cakes too.

One of the much known Christmas special are Minced Pies. The pies were somewhat crunchy on the outer texture. The outer texture were tasty & crunchy. The inner stuff was so so sweet so it was quite good.     

Coming to the Walnut Cake, the cake is pluffy and had an nice texture with nuts and specialities. The cake was so nice and so tasty. The walnut cakes were Good & Great.

And then we were served with Hot Breads Chef speciality Cappuccino mousse & Chocolate mousse. Every bite of these mousse were soft, tempered, delight, rich and awesome. Its a Much Needed to Taste one

The Don pepe Restaurants known for the Mexican delights. Its been handled by the most experienced Chef Vasu. 

Coming to the Mexican dish we have been served with Veg Nachos & Non-Veg Nachos. I tasted With Non-veg Nachos. It was so creamy With crispy corn & Chicken. It was a yummy dish and tasty too. 

Guys try all Mexican Dishes as its tasty and most yummy ones !! 

For this Christmas, The Hot Breads has initiated a initiative for social cause to rebuild Chennai. The initiative been named as Share & Care. As A part Hot Breads Will share a part of Profit For Charity !!

On 12/12/2015 Deccan Plaza hotels, Chennai has organised food bloggers and influencer's meet. The event named as #DinnerAtDeccan .It was a special evening we met many influential persons and introduced to new bloggers, got new experience and climaxed with a great dinner.

Invitation For #DinnerAtDeccan

 The event kicked off at 7.00pm exactly and started enthusiastically with a Blasting speech by Mr.Balaji Vijayraghavan Digital Marketing Consultant-Alterego Communications. With everyone introduced themselves & Expressed the views of social media how it has helped in Chennai Floods & Rescue Operations & Also he congratulated the humble hearts who have served for it ! At a finishing note he invited Mr.Vikas Chawla For the presentation.

Nearly 30-40 Influencer's & Blogger's have been present at the meet & we have been served with beverages and snacks.

Mr.Vikas Chawla- Co-founder Of Social Beat ignited his speech welcoming the bloggers and speakers. He presented the presentation about digital marketing & its features.A Serious discussion was thrown upon Influencer Marketing. Many valuable points have been discussed whole throughout the presentation. He also strongly stated that Content Marketing plays a major role in the digital marketing era,If content sets the strategy then it needs nothing to repute.Also we discussed various ways how to get influential. some points like when we head a blog with whacky names gets featured easily.The influencer's were onto the mobiles and devices tweeting up the session too.Many insights have been presented and explained the views of it. He also explained whats the content means and how the content should be designed in such a way that it will reach the viewers. And Its time for the panel discussion with celebrity bloggers Mr.Nivedith Gajapathy, Mr.Hrish Thota, Mr.Aravind Balakrishnan. Mr.Balaji Vijayraghavan shooted out many questions based on influencer marketing, blogging and their experiences.

Many discussions were rounded about the blogging in different interceptions & criteria's, expectations of the viewers.The Twitter expert Mr.Nivedith Gajapathy did patiently answered all the questions thrown to him. after this discussions they shared about their experiences on their travel & what they do's and dont's !! And at this moment we have trended on Twitter !!

After this Successful trending and discussions. We have got the job to do. After finishing off the speeches we all headed to the dinner. Its time for tasty food. Many varieties of foods have been kept in front of us.we all drooled over it and started tasting the foods.

Hot piping Dosa has been served. Pasta varieties were there and were served hot according to your taste. Desserts like Gajar Ka Halwa,Rasamalai were the best. I loved the taste and enjoyed it more. most of all food was average, ambience was also average but fine,Deccan hotels must need to look after this.They need to develop more on serving styles. Successfully the meetup was good & great.

Know About The Different Kinds Of Sensors Used In The Smartphones

A rectangle shaped prodigy which serves us to survive in this technological world. Today, smartphones are using many sensors which are are useful in daily life. These sensors makes our work reduced. So you know about the sensors while you buy your new smartphone !!

Accelerometer: 

Its an usually used sensor in this smartphone world.The accelerometer helps the smartphone on titling operations. It changes the orientation of the picture or any of the using screen !! These sensors are also used in determination of the 3d axes (x,y,z) !!

Proximity Sensor :

Its also known as IR sensor Or Infrared sensor. This sensor works in a smartphone when a call is attended. Its also works for reduction of power consumption while talking. When the phone is tapped green signal for talking the proximity sensor activates . The proximity sensor is at TOP left corner of the smartphone. The Sensor Switches OFF the screen while you talk. the sensor deactivates When contact with the sensor disappears.

The gyroscope sensor used in smartphone is used to orientize the object or image or any categories. if you are watching the video (Have you heard of the Auto-Rotate option) in potrait position this option can enable to watch in landscape mode by only changing the Axes of the mobile !!

Magnetometer :

The Magnetometer is Used to detect magnetic fields.It used for compass applications as well in smartphones. Apps that are used to detect metal uses this kind of sensors 

Light Sensors :

Light sensors are used to level up the light in the smartphone. have you heard of the ambient light feature ?? light sensors helps in converting the instances of brightness & darkness. It takes up ambient light feature in smartphones !! It equalizes the color modes It reduces irritation when the brightness id high !! 

Thermometer :

This Sensor helps in Measuring the temperature of the device and battery. If any of the system components are overheated or consuming higher power the system automatically shut itself down. This sensor converts the heat into signals that shuts down or alert the system . 

Pedometer :

This is an usually used sensor now. This Sensor is used for fitness purposes. The sensor actually calculates the steps accordingly that user has undertaken. it calculates the signals of steps and converts the signals !!

Fingerprint sensors :

Fingerprint sensors are usually a type of biometric devices used for security purposes. Fingerprint sensors actually replaces the pattern locks ! Highly Secured Highly Instant !! 

Barometer :

The Barometer actually measures the atmospheric pressure. its measured above the sea level and gives its accuracy over the GPS.
